Default 992 Steering Wheel on 997.2?

I found one post on here that claims a 992 Wheel can fit a 997.2 but it didn't say if an adapter was needed.

I have a 2009 997.2 C4S PDK Sport Chrono with No Multi-Function or Heated Wheel today. Wheel I am looking at is MF no heating w/ Sport Chrono.

Appreciate any help in confirming before buying.

Just Email Paul the GPS adapter guy direct. He knows what's what, and is really helpful.

I would gamble heavily saying the steering wheel fits. Likely the horn working without much work from the 992 as well, may require trialing some coding.

As far as keeping multifunction I’d agree with above.

Thanks! I'll reach out to gpsadapter and see what he says.

I found a YT vid that claims the 992 wheel fits on the hub but the airbag from a 991.2 won't fit and a customer cable harness is needed. So that is promising.

Their website (https://gpsadapter.us/products/stmv1) tells you everything you will need.

Got an update from Paul at GPSAdapter.us - no 992 Wheel/Harness solution for 997.2 yet

Guess I'm back to looking for a 991.2 wheel

There is a PDK MF heated 997.2 wheel posted on the Atlanta Facebook site. $120. That may work for you

He’s looking for a newer “upgraded” wheel.

Like this 991.2 GT Wheel, except he’s looking for the 992.
