Looking for PIWIS2
I recently bought a 991 for my wife. Now with 2 Porsches, I would like to get a PIWIS2. All of the places online are located in China and I refuse to send them my credit card info. I used to own Nine-Eleven Enterprises and we got our PIWIS from George at Carrera Diagnostics in Canada. He is currently at $2200 and that's a little over my budget. Anyone had personal experience with a PIWIS seller?

Yes, it was a lot more expensive, but I have dealt with him for years and am comfortable doing business with him. It is nice to call and know that he will answer phone. Now I just hope I never need it!
Dude it's your money but $2200 for a PIWIS2 is absurd. You can buy the exact same thing from China for around $400 and I explained how to do it without giving them your actual credit card number. This is exactly what I bought.

You can get one with a tablet PC for ~$750. Is it worth paying three to five times as much just to have someone answer questions after the fact? The Chinese sellers answer questions too.
There are numerous sellers like this that soak Porsche owners by reselling things at ridiculous mark-ups by marketing themselves as experts. These people know some Porsche owners have been conditioned to pay through the nose at dealerships, so they cash in on that too. They think they are entitled to the Porsche Tax.
I know nothing about George but I do know there is no way a PIWIS2 clone is worth $2200. There's a guy selling repackaged Joyeauto Carplay units for $900 when the units sell for $350 from China. These people are everywhere in Porsche Land. Buyer beware.
