Default Any idea why I dont seem to find TMPS on the menu ?

I have a newish to me 997 and I was checking to see how I find the TPMS monitor and I realise I dont seem to have one ?

I follow the manual and have dug around in all the stalk options but no TPMS option to click into ? Is it possible it was an option on a 2011 C2 ?

Are you trying to set it for new tires or new pressures or just seeing what the values either? Should both be there.

I had this happen to me on a 987.2 a few years back and no one could figure it out. Dealer finally solved it for me by, IIRC, touching the two battery cables together to force a hard restart. Obviously don't try this by yourself.

I think it must be something that needs a reset as I thought I had seen it before but I toggle through and no TPMS option and every other option I have been in just in case its in INFO, NAV or anywhere else !

I have just had a KWV3 fit, water pump and pipes down so I am sure the battery would have been disconnected. So I can assume it should have it !?

If you can't find it, you can have mine
I'm having my TPMS disconnected - Too irratic and never seems to work properly.

Oh wow, that's an enormous difference -- that'd drive be bananas.

But my TPMS (with HUF sensors) has been accurate, when I've checked using a Longacre temperature compensated pressure gauge - https://www.ogracing.com/products/lo...ge-w-pyrometer

There must be some wild differences (or some aging factor) with the various sensors out there.

Karl.

As always, .2 is different than .1 Don't get confused as most things are different between these cars. My late (2011) .2 car has perfect operating TPMS and oil level checking.

TPMS with readout in the gauge cluster was an option in Europe. The TPMS warning light only are standard fitment - the sensor(s) work off the ABS.
I am new to the forum as I just purchased a 2009 C4S Cabriolet in Finland and was searching for the same thing, through a bit of research I realized the TPMS is not standard as it appears to be in US models.

Interestingly looks like it wasn't fitted I had a new set of wheels and tyres and there were no sensors in the old wheels, so none now in the new !
