if your lobsters need to be refinished - its a perfect opportunity to get them reFinished in the 2-piece wheel look (not the diamond cut look).

I was always on the fence when it came to the lobsters until I saw them painted in this simple, yet brilliant way - transforms + modernizes these period correct + timeless wheels *just enough* where they even work well on the .2 cars. both black + grey innards work very well.

a .2 with lobsters - awesome!

what wheels did you have before?

I was running the turbo II wheels prior and the lobsters are so much lighter!

When I purchased the car, the originally spec Turbo II were gone and replaced by a mesh style aftermarket wheel. I wasn’t crazy about those so I replaced them a GT3 style replica wheel, which looked really good. Better in person than in this picture. However, I wanted to return to Porsche OEM and always liked the lobster fork.

Previously installed wheels, GT3 replicas.

Default “ Lobster Fork”

If anybody is wondering where the term “Lobster Fork” comes from, see picture below. The end of the spokes resemble the two tines on the lobster for utensil. For some reason, people mistakenly call the wheels “Lobster Claw.”

Lobster fork utensil.
