Default 997.1 Cluster Lost Prgramming

Hello,

Our 2006 911 Carrera 3.6L 6-speed was down with the battery disconnected for 12-months. When restarted the oil level wouldn’t read, so I checked codes and get C140 Comm Instrument Cluster, C141 Comm PCM display, C112 Fault Display CAN plus other comm codes with doors and such. Sorry about the huge photos.

Then when clearing codes I get Negative Responses Key 80 and Function Terminated, Req: 1 4FF00 Ans: 7F1422
I think that my cluster lost programming and am looking for guidance.

All the gauges work, the cruise light is alway on. The cluster counts down and shows flashing mark at bottom of the display. I know there’s proper amount of oil in the car. Except for the comm codes and lack of oil level everything works on the car. We had the engine out for a period and this issue arose after reinstallation.

Thank you,

Bill

I am using a Foxwell AutoMaster Pro to pull this information.

Update: We were able to reselect the installed items from the programming list and that bought everything back up. All works again. It was the gateway module that lost comms.
