I am thinking of ordering a new cowl cover for my 997 to replace the old beat up discolored one. Part of the reason is also the deteriorated seal that runs along the windshield. I see on the 996 that the seal is a separate part. I can’t seem to confirm the same for the 997. Does anyone know if the 997 cowl cover is one piece? That is, it includes the seal for where the cover meets the windshield? The part number I have is 997-572-563-10-FMT. I am not sure if I should be sourcing another part too. I didn’t see anything else on the schematic.

 

I ordered one for my 2006 from Porsche and it does come with the seal. Plug and play.
