I applaud this plan.

Have:
-full leather oem
-front dash vents/center speaker
-door spears
-end caps of dash: Can only be seen with door open, was only $50 but wouldn’t pay much more for them.
-overhead console
-ignition surround
-steering column surround: prob my favorite. See it all the time.

Want:
-visors
-center console

Up in the air about door sills. I feel they would get scratched up too easily.

My search for the leather steering wheel housing cover is finally over. I bought this from heavy-smash-salvage-lp in Latvia and it just arrived now. I am super happy about its quality and can't wait to install it this weekend. The leather is new but the parts itself is used. Original leather housing from Sun Coast would have been $1,890 + tax. This is only $370 plus tax and shipping.

I can't wait to install this long awaited leather part

wow, I’ve been waiting for that piece to pop up. Did you find it on their site or did they make that one specifically for you?

I found it on his Ebay store. He put another one up for sale after shipping mine, but it got sold on the same day. I am sure they will have more in the future so just keep checking to see if one pops up.

you can enlarge the right side to accommodate cruise control. Pretty easy. I bought one from them last year without cruise control and I just cutout the plastic (keep the leather intact and wrapped it round the new cut). use your existing shroud as template.

Cruise control is rare in Europe, you may have to wait for a long time.

Done. It took me 1 hour to replace the column cover. But it should not be too difficult the second time around. Color of the leather and stitching match perfectly with the rest of the interior.

My handy work on the shroud with no cruise control to accomodating cruise control.

Heavy Smash just posted another leather steering wheel column trim for cars with cruise control on Ebay. Get it asap if you really want it.

How hard was it to remove / install the trim around the door handle?

https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...-consoles.html You can skip to my post, thread #13 to start the journey. Read till the end as the instruction and questions from others are plenty.
