Default Audio PCM system 3.0 constant rebooting

On a 997.2 is there another part of the PCM system, outside the radio head unit? Like control module or power supply etc. under a seat or somewhere??
my Bose audio in all sources is looping into off,-showing Porsche screen, then comes back on playing repeat of where it left off. this goes on every 5-10-20 seconds, so long as the car is on, even not moving.
Thanks
bob

Porsche Communication Management (PCM) Rebooting How-To

Porsche has made us aware that the PCM keeps rebooting on a number of Porsche vehicles. There is an easy way to resolve this issue. Please see the following steps:
  1. Press and hold the PCM info button for approximately 10 seconds until the PCM reboots.
  2. Immediately select the following from the PCM CAR > OPTION > Set PCM System > Reset PCM > Vehicle Handover > Yes > Yes

FYI, this procedure is pretty much a complete system reset. INFO reboots and you can do this at any time without loosing saved stations and such, the Set PCM clears everything from the unit including stored stations etc.... so I understand.

Rebooting for a .1 car is different that press/hold INFO.

Peace

Does your car have the Sirius satellite radio option even if you're not subscribed? If so, try and turn off Bluetooth in the PCM options (doesn't matter if a phone is set to connect or not) and see if it still reboots.
