There is a lot of movement away from EVs....E-fuel and Toyota making a big move to Hydrogen.

Nice to see in my personal opinion. There is also a request by a handful of European manufacturers to push off the elimination of ICE by 2030 and increase that time period. The request was accepted by the EU and a meeting has been called to re-examine that EV push.

Porsche knows the brand loyalty foundation is built on the 911. I really believe their massive investment in e fuel is to keep the 911 a cbe car. Yes, their will be a hybrid at some point, but the foundation would crumble with only electric 911s. I won’t be around to see it, but our 991 is a keeper the grandchildren will be enjoying someday.

EVs is the worst forced application of tech for the use case I think I've ever seen in my lifetime. Glad people are looking at alternatives as I'll never own an EV as it essentially makes the car disposable and I buy a car I want and keep it forever. Have had my DD pickup for 21 years. That would likely be 3 EV lifetimes.
