Hi All,

If anyone has a line on Bilstein Suspension parts for Porsches I am in search of a front Left B6 Damptronic Strut Assembly Part number 35-135869 . Seem to be backordered until Mid April, but we have the car torn apart now down at my shop as we thought we had them but upon trying to install the fronts it appears the supplier sent the wrong struts and now we can't find the front left one anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ive called like 25 different vendors this morning and seems like there is nothing anywhere in the country. Maybe someone has a new one sitting around somewhere they would part with?

I feel your pain... I've been waiting for a left front B6 since January 2022. I searched world-wide at the time and located a few left front struts at a German private reseller... at $1200 for ONE strut, plus S&H!! (Needless to say, I declined)

My shop has been in regular contact with thyssenkrupp Bilstein. Their last update had 997 B6's produced and shipped as of early January, 2023. ETA at Bilstein's Ohio distribution center is mid-March, so April retail availability makes sense.

 

Actually, this listing is missing the left front strut!

 

Yea.. pretty wild that only the Left Front is unavailable.... there must be a micro chip for the PASM Controller in the front left.... and the supply chain issues for said microchips is most likely causing the delay. But who really knows... I spoke to bilstein directly and they had no answers.... I wonder if its possible to retrofit a controller to a normal B6 or if there is some work around to modify a right front to make it a left front....

 

I was able to located a front pair and pulled the trigger... thanks guys for input and help! Mods please close this now.
