I have a 997.2 Aerokit with matching lip and wing, all factory painted 041 black.

These have been discontinued and are NLA from the dealer, except the lip, which depending on where you look is being listed for $2k.

I'm trying to justify having these expensive parts on a car i now seldom drive, in favor of taking $ towards another car project that would get more utility. Knowing it's a PITA to ship/package this stuff - what do you reckon a loose, complete ready to mount/painted 997.2 Aerokit is worth?

 

If it was brand new in the box, double of what you paid for it to see if it sells. Since it's painted but discontinued, post it up for double and see what happens.

 

What components are included in aero kit? to my understanding it is Front bumper, Front lip, and rear decklid.

 

The rear decklid is very rare.
N/A from any of the usual sources and non-existent on eBay.

Name your price and fend off the lower offers.
You will make some serious coin, even more if the buyer has an 041 color car.
Sell it, or hold it like fine wine, it's never going to go down in value, IMO.

 

I'd say $5-$6k maybe, but it's worth whatever someone will pay for it and being rare and NLA, someone may pay a lot if the have to have it.

Might be worth listing on PcarMarket or BAT to get some bidding war stuff going.

Last time I visited Germany, I brought 3 RUF shift ***** home with me. Sold 2 of the 3 for enough ($1,000 plus each) to make mine free. Was something I had to have, and I guess some other folks too.

It's a sort of GT3-light. The spoiler while it looks like it's the same as the 997.1, has two ducts for the different airbox.

I've responded to WTB ads for 997.2 aerokit wings before and when I pointed to what they cost brand new, and that they're NLA now - I still get folks responding saying, oh but my budget is $3k which is what 997.1 wings go for or I can go aftermarket.

Yes, it's OEM.

There's a car i've been eyeing which if it goes through, I'll then make plans to swap the aerokit out and recoup some funds and get back to folks here.
