Default Tail light options .2 c4s

Morning,

Anyone have thoughts on a new set of tail lights for my 997.2? I am getting some blinker errors off and on and I live in a very wet climate. Lots of condensation in the tails through the winter. I think it is time to replace them and looked at suncoast but figured I would ask if anyone has other options for purchase.

OEM replacements from ULO. IIRC, they make the genuine lights anyway, but are a good bit less than the genuine lights. I had a set from ULO on my 987.2 and they worked flawlessly for the 2 years I owned the car.

Resist the urge to get some eBay knockoffs or, worse yet, some 991 or 992 "style" lights for your 997.2. First off, they will likely be poor quality and not last. Second, whenever folks try to "update" their old car with these type of lights, I think it cheapens the look of the car and comes off tacky as hell. Genuine or OEM replacement like ULO is the only way to go, imo.

I can't seem to find a left one in stock anywhere! I heard possibly related to Ukraine supply chain issues. Would love to know where to find one for a somehwat reasonable price.

This. the .2 oem tail lights are as good as it gets for the .2 cars - the aftermarket fake 991 ones are horrible (not sure why anyone thought this was a good idea).

997.2 light fail regularly. The lens separated from the body and let's moisture in (4 $ 4S refevtir strip does the same thing). When you get the new ones, have them clear bra'd with enough material past the surface to wrap around the back of the lens some and it will act as a seal, and also help prevent the lens separation.

Its a shame Dectane does not make a replacement set like they offer for the 997.1. Mine have worked flawlessly with zero moisture issues.
