Lights are in and installed. Used the hard wire method outlined above. No issues, no codes. Converting from a 997.1S with factory Xenons.

You may need to adjust them at night. Its an easy job.

Drivers side had to be replaced by morimoto due to a cosmetic defect, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to share photos of what the lights look like with and without sports classic eyelids.

Passenger side: sports classic Drivers side: oem

Blacked out

OEM

Well, the headlights themselves just pop in and out
The routing of the cable for the DRL maybe 15 - 30 min
So overall less than an hour

2005-2013 997 Porsche. We've only sold to American cars so not sure if international cars have any unknown issues. The 997.1 is a lot more plug and play than the 997.2 though.

Does anyone else notice the light bounce more than OEM? Drove it for the first time today at night and noticed I was blinding other drivers when the road surface got bouncy/rough.

I don’t have any codes so not sure if it’s just how they are or should I aim them a tad low/lower to compensate?

It seem like that to me. Very sensitive to bumps.
