Default hard top bayonet connectors ( Male)

Does anyone know where to source these? some vendors sell the receiver but I'm looking for the male part that attaches to the hard top and goes into the receiver. Porsche part # would also help. The same hard top fits 996, 997.1 and 997.2 but the earlier cars use the bayonet connector whereas the 997.2 uses screw in bolts to secure the back corners of the hard top.

You can download the entire parts catalog for your (and other) models directly from Porsche: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...he-s-site.html

If the part is available, you'll be able to find the part number in there.

Karl.

I believe the 997.1s also have the screw type fasteners. Mine (06 C4S Cab) came sans the receivers and I had to install them. It might only be the early 996s that had the bayonet fasteners.

The receivers are not hard to install/replace, so take the easiest road. The hard top I purchased was off of a 996 Turbo and it had the screw fasteners. I had to go to the dealer to order the receivers. It was not easy to find them outside the dealer network. They weren’t cheap either. Good luck with your project!
