Default 997.1 front aero lip spoiler

I bought the front aero a few months back. My question is when I get it painted should I go ahead and buy the Ebay style front lip? I live close to Raleigh NC. The roads are fine in the areas that I drive. My car is lowered on H&R springs? I do currently scrape on some turns around town. What front lips are people buying?

thanks
b

My car had a aero front bumper on it when I purchased it and it's lowered on H&R's. Needless to say it scrapes often. Initially I went the ebay lip, thinking I would replace it once a year. After 3 months, I believe it was, I needed a new one. I ended up getting the next one, Porsche OEM, from FCP.

I just purchased one off ebay to replace the painted one, which already dragged itself over an unpainted speed bump. I prefer unpainted as it seems to drag on everything. Much easier to hide scuffs on an unpainted spoiler.

My 997.1 C2S has the aero kit and swapped the original lip/splitter with a cup car one. Cheaper to buy and trimmed it down by 15mm (not sure inches) Mine isn’t lowered and still chews them. Also I leave it unpainted as it matches well with Seal Grey.

I did the exact same thing and my car is also on H&R’s.

The BaysonR Motorsports lip is of good quality and fitment. I go through one every few months scraping and smacking it on everything https://baysonr.com/products/06-08-p...9e11750d&_ss=r. It's an eBay-based brand but ordering directly through their site is a little bit cheaper and very fast shipping. Quality is always consistent too unlike other unbranded eBay lips.

I think this is the one I bought last year as well. I prefer the look of the black so I swapped it out. But might consider FCP Euro with their lifetime warranty…. Might come out ahead that way.

I bought mine off of eBay a couple years ago and it's still going strong. It's decent quality, I thought I'd have to replace it every year but so far that hasn't been the case.

Does anyone know how much lower the Cup style lip is?
