Any word on those tires? Trying to decide between those and 4S right now.

Logged about 1000 miles so far. Mainly city and some long distance highway with a few canyon runs.

Feedback is higher than the Evo2 but not harsh, just feels like more rubber is in contact with the road. Wet is fine but I don’t push it in the rain. Dry traction is solid and very linear, you can find the limits pretty easily without feeling like the car is going to get away from you. Turn in is a tiny bit soft but not significant. Too early for tread life. Overall, happy with my choice.

Looking at track days in March-April to see how they feel when pushed hard.

I use the Conti Extreme Contact 5P on my 07 turbo in stock sizes. They're a couple lbs lighter per corner than the other manufacturers. No complaints

If you can, please let us know how it goes.

Thanks again for all the feedback on these thus far!

I was between the Continentals and PS4S's, but ended up going with Yokohama Advan apex v601's, just got them delivered, they're about $400-$450 less than the Michelins and have pretty good reviews, even here on rennlist.

ordered them 2 days ago from Tire Rack, already here, will report back.

I mounted ExtremeContact Sport 02s recently and have been pleased with the purchase. I haven’t been able to push these much due to installing coilovers soon after and the CA rain. These already feel like an upgrade from the General G-MAX RS tires that were on my other wheels.

I'm about to order a new set. What is the verdict from those who ordered the ExtremeContact 02's?

I have about 4K miles with them on my 991. No different from the Michelin PS4S in heavy rain, dry, spirited or daily driving. Noise appears to be the same. Great tire for the price.

Rounding back after one year and about ~6000 miles on the set.

No regrets. Great, predictable tire in the dry and wet.

Looks like Tire Rack confirms my initial thoughts. Better road manners with slightly less steering feel.

CES02 posted faster lap times then the 4S in the dry and equal in the wet.

Default O2

I run these after older Michelin super sports, I’ve driven in dry and very wet here in Florida,
and I like em. Get a good alignment too.
Stock sizes on my 2005S.

Video Summary
That’s weird. When I switched from MP4S to these, the one thing I could tell immediately was the increased in steering feel and response. I felt the same difference in my M3 as well as the 997. I also could tell better feel and less hydroplaning on the rain. On the 997 my confidence to push it isn’t there yet to tell better handling over the MP4S but on the M3 I haven’t I haven’t found the limits yet but pretty confident so far.
