Default 997.1 C4S exhaust advice

Considering a Tubi style exhaust on my 4S which has PSE ( sounds good but just a bit too quiet) ...
don't want obnoxious but slightly louder and deeper and want to keep valve functionality
Suggestions?

Man, I'm with you. I've been struggling to figure out the best path to get some better sound. But starting from no PSE.

I'm guessing the best and cheapest solution for you (keeping PSE in place) will be a 200 cell catted x-pipe. Very curious how you do it. (And if you ever decide to sell your PSE, let me know.)

Not a budget solution by any stretch (quality never is), but I'm immensely happy with my Soul headers and 200 cell cats paired with the stock (non-PSE) mufflers. Soul has cats for the PSE also. It sounds nearly stock at low throttle and off the vario-cam, but opens up to an incredible (but not painful) snarl at heavy throttle and higher RPM.

I'm lagging way behind getting some audio/video files posted, but will try this week.

Not to take this off topic, but do all these aftermarket 200 cell cats still pass state emissions inspection?

Got a Tubi for over 10 years and I love it more every year!

Fortunately no emissions inspection here, but I'm north of 300 miles on the setup with no check engine light and all stock tune and O2 sensors.

Tubi sounds excellent but it still pretty tame with stock cats. I liked mine but just wasn’t enough. The Soul 200 cell cats would wake up your PSE immensely.

My experience also but I’m up to about 2,500 miles on my Soul cats.

No CELs in 10 years with my 200 cell Fabspeed X pipe using HJS cats (their supplier). I was lucky as I found one of their nla valves muffler setups for my PSE equipped car. I'm running their long tube headers, valves mufflers, and X-cats. Love it

I need to make a better viseo

Just keep the original exhaust and run it into Sport Mode all the times (or disconnect the vacuum tubes from the exhausts and plug them).
There are plenty of ultra-loud pick-up trucks, Camaro and Dodge SRT on our roads and you just cannot compete with these.
There is really no need to add to the ambient chaos.
Besides, you will get tired of it and wished you never changed it.

I’ll second soul, I have their headers and catless w PSE and I think it’s perfect. It’s loud but not obnoxious.
i tuned it with softronic to remove the CEL issue and I’m really happy it doesn’t make it any faster on the street but sounds amazing when you’re pushing it on the track

I have the exact same set up, but feel that it is loud when pushing it especially in 3rd over 4.5K RPMS. It is even loud for my wife when not in sport mode when pushing it. Sounds like a beast

Has anyone just eliminated the cat?
