Default AT engine number?

hello guys.
my name is frenkie and i am looking to buy a good porsche 997
i have one in mind but what dos AT means on engine number porsche 997 i want to buy a 997 with egine number M96/05AT69665325

Means it's a factory replacement engine. Not the original engine that came with the car. Nothing wrong with that and depending when it was put in you might have a lower mileage motor than the current odometer might indicate.

and by seeing the numbers it is the engine with the right mri bearing am i wright?

And this replacement engine, was brand New then?

I'm not sure if new or factory remanufactured. I would imagine this might depend of what was available at the time. Maybe someone else knows. Porsche used to have an engine replacement program a while back when these cars were much newer so perhaps they had new engines a plenty sitting around.
