Does anyone know of a place where I can get a new battery terminal for my key fob? Though mine still works as is, it is broken and I don’t think I can remove it without breaking it more. I am trying to do a key fob shell upgrade.
Alternatively does anyone have a spare complete key fob lying around that I can use to salvage that part?
Two suggestions... put a touch of solder on it as a contact point, or go to eBay where you can get the key shells there. They vary... look closely at the Porsche crest on the other side as they can vary from poor to perfect.
The other suggestion - Be VERY careful when you swap over the key blade. The plunger and spring (ESPECIALLY THE SPRING) can fly anywhere and everywhere except where you want it to go.
