Bore Scoping Pics. Not sure what cylinder is what. Time stamps are not correct.

Not sure if this post went through.

My mechanic thinks it’s just Reflection off of the cylinder walls.

The car is in great shape otherwise with no signs of abuse.

i plan on putting 1-2k miles a year in only good weather, keeping up with preventive maintenance, taking great care of the car.

I’m still leaving on going forward with purchase.

Those cylinders look clean to me. You’ll always have some minor “scuffing” which is normal and looks like what you see here. Scoring is more obvious.

After reviewing the photos posted, I'd also agree it has "slight" scoring.
At 40,000 miles it would be hard to predict if/when scoring could get worse however preventative measures can be taken using certain oils which will slow any further scoring.
