how many of you guys running the backup/front parkings cameras have the AHD HD output enabled?

I am going to swap my front camera out shortly and am looking forward to seeing the quality comparison difference.

this is the last of the gen1 android pcms but with the final produced maxxed out specs 4g/64g.

i have a prototype gen2 android pcm arriving today for me to test + provide feedback b4 the volcano grey one gets finalized .... the current pcm I am using I am pretty sure all 997 android manufactures have stopped making as it is a 2018/2019 design and the ones with ***** + buttons are now out.

it's the unit I designed. There is a giant android thread on RL here about them.

With that said, i have stopped supporting the unit for the time being.

 

Hahaha...I'm with you on this one. Everyone talks about the purity of the Porsche experience and....you know....After having a car/cars with ALL the safety stuff for a LONG time now, and getting the 05 Carrera S a few days ago? I have no issues in any regard to parking, blind spots, beepers missing, etc....... Simple. Pure.

My wife on the other hand.......lol

 

Imho it helps, and thats having gotten used to no rear camera on the 911 for almost 10 years of ownership.

the front camera helps too for parking, curbs, avoiding front lip damage etc.
