Dash cam external batteries
I am currently shopping for a 2ch dash cam + external battery. Pretty much every one I've seen supports connecting to your phone to see battery percentage, time to full charge, etc that must use power? For those of you with dash cams and external batteries, do you notice significant drain on the external pack over the period of 1-2 weeks, with parking mode disabled? My car is a weekend car and I plan to have parking mode shut off after 8 hours or so. I would prefer to not leave home with a dead external battery every time.

My parking mode runs all the time but with my DR750 2 channel cam, I get about 48hrs of continuous parking mode once the car is off using a b124x + b124 extension. The Blackvues aren't the most efficient parking mode cameras but I'd imagine with only running parking mode for 8hrs after, you'd be able to stretch the batteries to 2 weeks if you're not driving between. It would be similar to leaving a battery bank for your phone sitting for X amount of time. They all use the same battery tech inside for the most part.
