Default 997.1 fuel pump failure

Yesterday after driving I had an issue starting my car. Then a few minutes later it started I thought maybe I had vapor lock. But then after driving for over an hour I parked in my driveway. A few minutes later I jumped in car to run an errand and it wouldn’t start. I’m thinking fuel pump relay or the fuel pump failed.
before I start going through testing it I wanted to through it out to everyone for pointers for those that have had this issue.
thanks Aaron

FYI
just did a quick start spray test into the throttle body and it started right up for a few seconds till the sparky got consumed. So now definately sounds like fuel pump or fuel pump relay.

I checked the 25 amp fuel pump fuse it looks good. How do you disconnect the relay panel from under the dash?

thanks

I hooked up the durametric and triggered the relay for the fuel pump I could hear it click. I’m guessing my pump is bad?

Also I tried to remove the fuel line connection at the engine on the quick connect and couldn’t get it apart . I don’t remember it being an issue before?

Most 997 hot start issues are battery cable and alternator cable related, have you ruled this out?

Is there an (easy) diagnostic procedure to measure the pressure on the fuel rails?

Perhaps even a "poor man's" test if there's a bleeder on the rail to see what if anything comes out when being bled.

Did you ever discover if the issue was a bad fuel pump?
