Those flares make the 911 look like a lowered VW bug. Nope.

The other kits look like something was ordered from JC Whitney and screwed onto the car. That style belongs on pickup trucks, not Porsches.

Interesting thread.
I think the best way to describe his work, is ‘rough’. (maybe hence the company name). He basically butchers them.
His ‘craftsmanship’ is laughable.
it’s a ‘thing’ to fly him over, give him a special chair, a never ending supply of **** (UK to US translation: cigarettes) and coca cola, then film him going at your car with an air-saw, a rattle can and a silicone gun!

However, I love the culture that goes with them, I love the look, I love the ‘tacky’ names that they’re christened with…
Japanese car culture is fascinating and a Daikoku meeting is full of nothing but respect for people’s tastes, which never happens in the UK!

Would i let Nakai-San near my car? Hell no!
Would i want to own an RWB 964? Yes!
as you say in the US, ‘go figure’ !

My 2c is this...... looks a bit like a squashed bug from the front - far too wide for my taste and and as some have said looks too far away from the original design of the car. The visible negative camber on the front wheels does not help on the car on the left - hence the 'squashed' look..

This is wider keeps the original look but with some subtle enhancements - its lovely especially the way the flare from the rear wheel arch flows through the fender and down to the rear tail lights. The light picks it put really well in this picture.

I think they are cool but not for me.
The big thing for me is that, in LA, my car doesn't really stand out. I daily it. So, it is totally not for the way I use cars...
might as well throw up some pics for the conversation:

I'm sorry but that looks like total ****. That don't belong on a clapped out Civic from the Fast & Furious. It looks like it was installed with double sided tape.
