Alternator warnng light comes on aporadically

My battery alternator light come on sporadically. When I shut off engine and restart it stays off then after indeterminate time it comes back on. Good Battery, rebuild alternator.. help.

Have you checked the connections since you've recently replaced both? It's a monster of a cable just make sure it's secured tightly.
