Default Headlight trim. Whos the best?

Looking for headlight trim in black. Not really wanting decals unless a last resort. Anyone have experience with some very good fitting ones. {997}
Thank you.

Yeah the KI decals look great, I didn't want the trim cause they all protrude too much. I have a white car with the the matte black rings and it looks great. I have pictures in a post somewhere if you search.

I've bought from Kyle at KI. I'll check into that. Thanks.

Thank you.
We are now offering replacement headlight covers for the 997 in OEM silver as well as in a new gloss black for our Blackout Option.

They are the exact same covers, just the manufacturer applied a black finish instead of the silver. The finish is beneath the surface so will be as durable as the original and although subtle, still shows the original ribbed design.

I believe a gloss black edge around the headlights was actually a factory option that came with the 987 Cayman R.

To achieve the black trim look, you leave the inside trim chrome and just have us change the covers to the black finish.

Gloss black headlight trim was standard on the 997 Sport Classic and Speedster.

Here's a gallery of black speedster pics.

And though not in black, here is a picture of a sport classic because there will never be enough pictures of this car.

The speedster and sport classic also have a blackened housing for LED running light. Which helps match.

I just installed some blackened interior LED taillights. Which I think would match these other black trimmings.
