Need help with BT connection 2009 PCM 3.0
When I try to pair my Galaxy S21 Ultra, I am able to get the phone to see the PCM and I can register the phone with the PCM, but cannot connect to make or receive calls, and after the two shake hands and the PCM says it has successfully register my phone, it is not listed in the device list. Also won't even recognize my wife's iPhone 13 Pro. Only looking to use phone, not stream. Any suggestions?
Is it definitely compatible with these phones?

It's good you're not looking to stream as that functionality requires an AUX dongle (like Tunai Firefly) plugged into the aux jack of the multi-function stereo interface. Why your BT for calls won't connect though is a mystery. Are you sure you have BT enabled in the PCM? When connected it should show the connected phone name on the screen somewhere. It's the same system that's in my 2009 Cayenne which works fine with my Samsung Note 10+. I can't imagine the 21 generation is that much different that it has an unsupported BT protocol by the PCM3. There are known issues with the Sirius satellite OTA updates causing havoc with the PCM3 and a Sirius update cuasing a boot loop when BT is enabled. I would take it to your dealer and have them update the PCM to the latest software version and try again.

You may need to do a reset to get rid of existing phones first. This might be possible by holding the INFO key for about 5 seconds, or it may require a dealer visit.

Not sure if you're trying to use the phone or stream music.
Not possible to stream music at all with any PCM 3 config. You need an aux input + BOVEE or tuna firefly etc.
If trying to pair the phone you need the Bluetooth installed on the PCM. Mine doesn't have but will let me try and pair. Never works.

Was able to pair with a SB360 Bluetooth device I was using in a prior car, hooked up via the Aux input in the center console. Now I have BT and can stream as well. I guess either the PCM software needs updating from 1.47 or the car doesn't have a BT module. Regardless, I was able to make it work.
