Different car....I had an 1988 Cabriolet and had the top down all the time (two years) as it was a weekend driver and only out in good weather.
When I went to sell the car with 15K miles, one part of the mechanism was broken and I didn't know it, the stitching that held the rear window had dried out and deteriorated. (Granted the car was in Arizona, but never exposed to the sun). The top had "permanent" wrinkles and folds.....
I had it replaced prior to the sale. The person who did the work said always store the car with the top up.

2 weeks is not Long-term. I wouldn't worry about it. 3-6 months is long term.

I’m another with the hardtop which I ordered with the car. Sometimes the hardtop is on for a month or even just two days. Crossing the pond and through the canal, the hardtop was obviously on it for some time with zero issues. The only thing I see are three circular indents on the canvas top from how the top folds when opened and left opened for an extended period.
