Default DSC Controller Question

I finally got my DSC connected and working after returning initial unit which didn't work at all. I no longer get any PASM Failure messages and sport/sport+/PASM lights all illuminate when selected. My question: With the stock PASM unit the PASM light automatically came on if you selected sport mode after which you could turn either off without the other changing. With the DSC, when I select sport mode ONLY the sport mode lights up, not the PASM, I have to engage that separately. Sport + when engaged lights up the PASM with it, just not in sport mode. Is this normal?

Thanks

Yup, that’s how it works for me after the DSC upgrade. I prefer it.

Normal, as the DSC remembers the last mode it was in also.

Mine works that way too. Interesting that my first DSC threw error codes too last spring and had to get a replacement!

I just purchased a DSC second-hand, mine doesn’t come with a cable. Is it a regular cable, i.e. USB to micro / mini / USB C etc, or is it some specialty cable to connect to a computer?

I think I found the answer - it’s a Mini USB to USB, right? I have so many cables, I’m sure I’ll find it…
