997.2 Dynamic Headlights Projector Retrofit
Lightwerkz just completed a retrofit of my headlights. Check out the link:
TLDR:
New G5-BRT Bixenon projectors fitted
Light output increased from 261 Lux to 731 Lux
Retained AFS functionality
Overall a strong upgrade

Super cool. Have any photos of the car with the lights on?
Did they have to open your headlights and rebuild it? What did it cost?

Once I get some good shots I'll post them.

What prompted the job? Did they happen to clean up the headlight lenses of minor scratches etc, while they were off? Can part of the job simply be changing bulbs or was this because you didn't already have the bi-xenon? Thanks much!

That's great. Does it make a huge difference on the road?

I haven't been happy with the stock bi-xenon headlight pattern in my 09 c2s. Every time I'm in my 2019 Mazda CX-5 with AFS and full LED stock, I say to myself how the heck are these headlights so much better than my 911.
I've been considering the new Morimoto headlights with the new matrix led style. But I've decided the stock style looks better on the 997.2 IMO, I just want modern performance. To scratch the itch and start it off, I recently installed the newest Osram nightbreaker laser bulbs and it increased visibility by a little bit, but not too noticeable. My lenses are not worn, so this is probably why I did not get a noticeable difference.

Your thread/posts convinced me to go with Lightwerkz to do the projector swap. They also had a labor day sale which helped justify the purchase even more.
For AFS I know they use G5 BRT. I have the non AFS so Morimoto D2S projector swap it is. Both look like they have a sharp blue light flicker and cut off.
They most likely won't be replacing the lenses, and I already have brand new Osram nightbreaker laser bulbs. Will post up some pics once the work is completed.

Long overdue, but here it is.
I sent in my projectors to Lightwerkz. They retrofitted Micro D2S Projectors. I already installed Osram Nightbreaker Laser bulbs this Fall. No new lenses were needed. They shipped them back. Unfortunately the left projector was tilting down/right. First set of pics will show this. I eventually dropped my car off to Lightwerkz for them to manually adjust the projectors. 2nd set of pics will show the results, but I haven’t taken too many post-adjustment pics. Will take more pics in the Spring. First snowfall already happened and I don’t risk my 911 coming into contact with salt.
Overall very happy with the results. My favorite part is the very pronounced blue light flicker & razor sharp cutoff. If I were to nit pick, I may have gone with a whiter looking Osram bulb (CBN?) because these are more or less that factory yellow white beam, just much brighter. But they are the brightest HID bulb available on the market.

Do you know if there is a separate adjustment for the high beams? It seems my regular lights are where they need to be but the hi beams are crazy high.
