I have been searching around to find a way to replace dash and doors with leather parts but I cannot find a reasonable price at all. Plus dash is very very tedious work. I might attempt it if I find all parts I need

Yeah, not much further I can really go without spending a lot more money. The leather ignition surround and headlight **** surround don’t do it for me since I don’t really notice those and for $300+, not worth it. Definitely should do the chrono surround though…but damn, it’s $360…without the chrono!

this was 4-5 years ago.

I have a set of leather trimmed front defroster parts that had carbon fiber on them. The carbon fiber was removed.

Then there is this guy:
eBay link

$100 to put leather on any piece? No pics of his work. May ask him for some and send him my steering wheel surround.

that’s a terrible eBay ad. what leather do they use, what stitching? Is it $100 to wrap a center console and the same for the headlight trim?

curious what kind of response you get back.

I ordered black with dark grey stitching door sills. I’ll post them up when I get them but it might be a while.

I was thinking to order as well. Any reason for choosing dark gray stitching?

looked like the closest match to oem but don’t know for sure. It was worth the risk on door sills since they aren’t really near anything.

if it works out, I’ll do the center console but that’ll have to be a better match.

Ohh so you already have full leather package. I don't have this option so I think I can go with any stitching color (even though I might like sticking to OEM). Do you know what glue works best to make it stick permanently?

I don’t but I bought some oem trim pieces on either side or the radio off eBay plus the seats have stitching. Was planning on using weld wood contact cement (which I used for my alcantara) but there might be better options. It’s way better than that 3m spray on stuff by a mile.

Before I forget (again have no idea what these will look like since I want get them till early dec), if you put them on your watch list on eBay the seller will send you a 10% off offer plus keep an eye out for the different currency ones as there seems to be (and I’m not sure how) a considerable spread. I bought mine based on an Australian dollar auction that turned out to be a bit cheaper after the exchange.

their price also varies by leather type and stitch pattern.

Yes that's what I did and took it at extra 10% discount but it is still expensive with shipping. I bought the sides of stereo and will try it out first. Thanks for the tips for glue. I was thinking to use Gorilla clear grip but will try your suggestion first
