2006...997.1-- The vertical adjustment on my passenger side headlight failed to move the light.
, I couldn't find anything on-line about repairing the adjuster so I'm appealing foe some enlightenment. So, "intrepid over-his-head amateur: that I am, I decided to see if I could fix it. When I opened the back the guts fell out (see attached). This can't be the OEM ballast.. What's going on here?
Looks more and more like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and purchase new headlights. But first, one last stab at fixing the light. Does any one know the trick to removing the attached connector. As you can see, the insulation is crumbling so I need to replace it. Not sure why the insulation is crumbling but I suspect that the Zenon conversion over heater the wire.
you have changed from stock halogen to HID They wont aim the same, the hid will just be brighter. The HID are very good. Nothing wrong with them. If they are working I would leave them alone. If you have to re-aim them for some reason then you have to go back to stock bulbs.
