Okay, my wife who is Italian, wants to name my, um, German 997 C4S PANCETA. We are limited to 7 digits of course. Not sure. What do you call your beast?

I don't name my cars. I refer to them by their model names, numbers, or colors.

I wouldn't name one something that looks like PANACEA at first glance either

I've never named a car. Don't plan on doing it either.

My kids call them by their colors, so the 911 is the "Silver Car"...they're also 3 and 5 and think it's the coolest thing in the world to crawl in the frunk and mess around.

I also never name my cars. I’ve noticed that some of the older car guys always seem to. Is it a boomer thing???

My 997 is named Hope. It’s my wife’s middle name, and since I bought the car during one of the darkest periods of the pandemic it just fit. I’m a gen-x kid so I can’t speak to car names being a boomer thing, I’ve just always felt they deserve names.

I don’t name my cars but ever since I’ve accelerated once with my son in the passenger seat, he calls it Rocket.

I've named every vehicle I have owned and never thought twice about it. My 05 997s is named Sofia - but i have no idea why I chose that name at the time. Usually a name pops in my head on the first few drives and then it just sticks from there.

My wife asked me if I was going to name the 911, I declined as I've never named a car before.
Our VW Touraeg is called 'Bono' though, (wife's a U2 Fan....)

My 2.5yo calls mine "Happy Red Car" so, it's HRC for short. Porsches do look happy.
