Default any experience on this LSD?

Does anyone have experience with this LSD on their car? (webpage shows 987.2 and 981 but they make one for 997.2 PDK car)

Turned out most of the usual LSD manufacturers don't make one for 997.2 PDK car with factory open diff and this is the only option I found so far.

I believe Guard also makes a LSD for our cars.

Here are your only options:

Wavetrac:

WAVETRAC® DIFFERENTIAL, 997.2 LS PDK, 991 LS PDK (G100) - PDK WITH OEM LSD (autotech.com)

Guard:

Limited Slip Differentials | Guard Transmission (guardtransmissionllc.com)

If you are interested in the Wavetrac, I might have a used one for you.

Back in the ‘70’s. Youthful indiscretion.

I checked with Guard, they only make it for manaul tran, or PDK with PTV (e.g. turbo s).

I'm confused about Wavetrac, because it says "PDK with OEM LSD" - doesn't that mean it wouldn't work with PDK with OEM open diff? Was your car PDK with OEM LSD or PDK with OEM open diff?

Bummer about Guard - I did not know it was not suitable with PDK. My son has the Wavetrac installed in a PDK car with OEM open diff.

Interesting, Wavetrac never got back to me. So his car is 997.2 c2 or 997.2 c2s as well? Let me know if he wants to sell it, I haven't fully decided on which one to go with yet. How many street/track mileages he got on them? Did he like it?

The Wavetrac has about 500 track miles on it. He wanted to upgrade to the Guard Pro 997 but that doesn’t seem to be in the cards anymore. Car is a 997.2 C2.

if the car is a PDK I don’t think Guard made one for it, that’s what they told me…

Saw your post - so he will probably just keep what he has.
