Default 997 C2 auto

Hi, I am new here, I have a 2007 C2 with the tiptronic box, done 45k miles and has a good history. I have noticed that there is a slight judder at about 2000 rpm in most gears, and also when I floor the throttle it drops two gears and revs up to red line and takes a while to upshift so I use the paddle to select 4th and 5th. Is this normal?
thanks

Never owned a tip car but what you describe doesn't sound normal unless the tip has the equivalence of the PDK sport plus mode which holds the gears to redline in auto mode but shifts to the next higher gear once it reaches redline. No delay or need to upshift manually. At least not in my car.

thanks. It does have sport mode, but this is happening in standard drive mode, I had a boxster PDK a while back and that box was a lot smoother.

Hi JR, I am not sure as I only bought the car 7 months ago, but they’re probably a few years old, you know how it is with low milleage 911’s they tend to go a long way between services.

Old coils can cause a stumble/hesitation/miss under load. But so can a torque convertor.
