Default ABS/PSM Light

Hello,

I seen some posts about this.

my question

sometimes when I press the brake hard I will get this error light but then if I turn car off/on it goes away.

Recently I did the brakes, pads , sensors

I was told if the light goes away after off/on, that it’s normal

is that true ?

You shouldn’t be getting an error light even when pressing the brake pedal hard.

how old is your battery?

have you had the car scanned for codes? My guess is It’s the brake light switch, more info here:

Yep, I just replaced my brake pedal switch. Super easy! The worse part is laying on your back under the steering wheel. I called the Porsche dealer and they had two in stock ( about $29 ). Solved my problem for cheap. Good luck!
