Default Factory Aerokit

Was interested in buying front and rear factory aerokit for my 997.1 but noticed that Suncoast and others only listed the front bumper and not the tail. I called Suncoast and they indicated that Porsche no longer sells the factory tail for the 997. This makes sense given that it’s not listed anywhere but still seems strange they would sell the front and not the rear even though there’s a disclaimer that you should also add a tail when putting on the front bumper. Can anyone confirm this is true? Any thoughts on where I can source a factory aerokit tail for a 997.1?

The 997.1 factory aerokit was only the front bumper and rear spoiler. Rear bumper was the same. The GT3 has a different rear bumper

Source, I had a factory aerokit 997 https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-carrera-s-79/

Sorry, should have been more precise. It’s the spoiler which apparently is no longer available and that I’m looking for.

Also, great looking car. Reminds me why I want to buy the aerokit!

As far as selling the front aerokit bumper without the tail - I suspect there are a few scenarios:
1) the OEM aerokit tail is super expensive and people may prefer aftermarket options. You could get the aero balance for less $ and - in the opinion of many - a better look
2) There aren't good aftermarket options for the front bumper - not much less money, not better looking, and the aftermarket options are lower quality
3) Those with full aerokit will replace front bumper due to accident, bumping curbs, rock chips, etc. But tails are rarely replaced

I run an aerokit front bumper, no tail, and a GT3 rear bumper. The aero is a bit unbalanced, but only noticeable at 140mph on the back of Road ATL. I was thinking about a tail, but I'm going to try running without a lip and I'm expecting to be fine.
YMMV

Center exhaust is basically a local mufler shop that put a custom routing of the muffler outlet to the center on each side and lined the pipes up almost exactly. A true artist and it was only like $500.
It's basically stock mufflers but they have the gundo hack courtesy of dfister. I had supplied the muffler guy with a couple of tips that I found on the web from a 'manufacturer that seemed to deal mostly in domestic hot rods
Later, I added Fabspeed headers and some cheaper hi-flo cats that I got on a group-but here. Sounds pretty mean these days!!!
Also, wrt the aerokit front, I bought the bumper used here on rennlist, and then added the GT3 smile after, with the template for the cut-out. So - those photos are pretty old - without the smile
This is also an old photo but shows the car as it is now, other than I usually run without a lip

Nice! Do you have pics of routing? I bought a tubi exhaust that I need to have my fabricator extend for center exits on gt3 bumper. Thanks mens!

I don't think I have any that are easy to access. I need to organize my photos at some point! I just had the car raised up... I should be taking it in for service in a few weeks and maybe I can get some photos if they have it up in the air...

@Patrick3000 sorry to go OT, can you tell me what SPASM consist of vs PASM? Is it the same PASM system with lower springs? Ive read PASM is 10mm lower than stock, and SPASM is 10mm lower than PASM. Past that I don't know, and am trying to understand the difference.

Thanks!
