Erasing the code worked. Thanks for your help.

I'm in the process of trying to elimiate the error codes form installing ROW folding bucket seats. I tried the code changes recommended in this thread and am still getting an error light (icon of person with airbag in the face). I even Erased Codes and it is still showing up. These are the changes I made. Anything I am missing? TIA!

Seat Airbag Disable:
Programing / POSIP / Customer-Specific Settings
Driver Thorax Airbag=No
Passenger Thorax Airbag=No
Passenger Seat Buckle=No

AWS=No

I disabled the driver seat buckle but error light is still on. Any other settings I am missing? I've read somewhere that some ECUs don't take to the coding. I'm wondering if there is a workaround.

Bumping this thread - when you install aftermarket seats, are you turning off passenger airbag functionality entirely or are you simply telling it to ignore the weight sensor (which as I understand it is meant to turn off the airbag when a child's weight is recognized).

I'm hoping its the latter as it seems like a terrible idea to turn off the airbag !

No, you turn off both thorax airbags, the AWS weight sensor and I coded the belt buckle out. All other airbags still work
