Default ABS not working

I can flat spot my four tires if I want to and my ABS is fine with it. No pulsing, no light. I know the yellow light is working on the cluster because it is on when I switch off the PSM.

The car is a 2005 c2 with:
c2s Calipers and rotor front and rear
c2s front upright
997 GT3 master cylinder
996 brake booster the 3.85 ratio one

My cheap Bluetooth code reader read no fault.

Perhaps if I find the issue I will have found the way to switch off ABS on these cars.

Any Idea?

Odd, I'd think a wheel speed sensor but that should give yuu a PSM error. Maybe the system is confused due to the mismatched parts in the braking system. With Durametric, can you activate the abs pump and hear it running?

Are you sure the ABS isn't working? Have you truly flat spotted a set of tires? If so they would need replacing since the vibrations would be horrible.

Find some sand or dirt on the road, like where they're building a house. Get some speed and have half the car on this dirt area and the other 2 wheels on cleaner pavement, then hit the brakes and see if you feel any modulation in the pedal from the abs pump while the dirt wheels are sliding.

I found out on track, when my abs was working I was feeling the pulsation and the light was blinking. Now I lock my front wheel as I try to remodulate the pressure to get the steering to work again, I think I hit the proportioning valve. My ''brake to late mistakes'' went from making me miss the apex to making me miss the turn in point.

I made a test on the asphalt where I was comfortable to hit the brake while looking only at the dash but I didn't want to flat spot the new tires so I didn't held the slide. I then found a downhill gravel road and I made them all four lock from 30km/h to 0, No ABS.

The half pavement test is a good idea, I'll try that.

also I found this in manuel yesturday:

To switch the booster I had to completely remove the abs pump, maybe I should have that done. I'll have a shop do it with a piwis and set the abs to the 997s program since I'm using it's brakes and wheels/tires size. And also have the pump running like Petza mentioned.

Thank you, I will repport back.

I found a better, smoother gravel road to test further. After filming the car braking, It seams that the ABS is working. It just does not work like it use to, no abs light and I can't feel anything in the pedal. Perhaps it is confuse by the new brake and is using another mode like ice mode.

The question now is:

Does ice mode make the abs light blink while activating like normal abs mode is?

I'm thinking of cancelling my appointment at the shop and buying a piwis system to test the different model in the abs program

Quick update

The car and/or me got better with time. I no longer think there is anything wrong with it. It feels a lot better now with the colder temps from fall. I will change my pads from oem to ferrodo 2500 for next season as OEM are textar front and jurid rear and I think that while they match well at normal temps they are not evenly match at close to fade temp and are creating ABS responses witch I was not familiar with.
