Default Stalling in neutral after warm start

I have been having this issue the last few weeks where my 997.2 stalls in motion when coasting with the clutch depressed. The issue is intermittent and only happens one time shortly after starting the car when warm. Typically doesn’t happen after a subsequent restart. Although it usually happens a low speed, it’s a bit unnerving as the steering locks. Anyone else seen this or have any idea what the cause is?

Are you saying your steering column anti-theft lock is actuated when this happens? Maybe start with ignition switch if so, as this is a known part to fail and it would indeed cause the steering column to lock.

Same here, happens rarely, but a little problematic.

it has t happened in a while since driving it more and maybe after the new battery.

subscribed though.
