What replaced your 997 ?

I bought my 997.1 - an 08 C4S Cab MT in August 2019. I really wanted a 718 Cayman S (the GTS 4.0 was not out yet) but could not go down that road on a daily driver with 11 and 9 year old kids.
I also did not want a Cab but settled at the time. Fast forward almost 2 years and I loved and really drove my C4S a lot, mostly a daily, putting 9-10k miles on it. After suffering trying to find and being beaten to the punch on many a 991 MT w some of my checklist specs, I eventually plunged into a 992 S Coupe - MT. Made out on the 997.1 and got a beast of a car. I do miss aspects of the 997.1 and had it been a Coupe I likely would not have jumped into the 992 rocket ship. Regardless it is amazing.
