I need to replace my current Michelin Pilot Super Sports. These will only be summer tires and I don’t track my car, so these will be my summer DD tires for my work commute.
What do you guys suggest?

I highly recommend Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. The next generation of improvements after the Super Sports. Plus, it's my opinion, but I think Michelin is also one of the best looking tire/sidewall/tread combo shapes available.![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
The Sport 4S has improved mileage while keeping same or better grip levels than the previous Super Sports.

Just put a set of Michelin PS4S on my '06 C2S yesterday and couldn't be happier. I live up in the mountains and know the roads well so I gave them a good workout coming back up "the hill." No complaints at all.
Cheers,

PS4S is the go to tire for pretty much all sports car applications for max performance.
I recently needed tires and went with the Conti ECS. For an every day car, it might be the better tire. Less dry grip, but better in the wet and a little queiter on the road.

Excellent, thanks gents ... I was leaning that way as I was I really happy with my old MPSS, so I pulled the trigger on a set of PS4S's last night on Tire Rack which are in stock and should be should be going on the car tomorrow. Thanks for the input and looking forward to making the move to the new generation of these Michelins

If you can't say something nice ... But I feel a need to add the following ...
I don't think you can go wrong with Michelins. They make great tires and have made many of my cars drive better. The PS4 is an example of that. But, just in case ...
Be patient with the new tires. I put these on as a full set on my 2010 C4S a couple years ago and loved them so much I proactively bought a set for Pam's car (MB AMG GLA45). Loved those the same. Much better than the OEM Contis. Better grip. Quieter. Smoother. Absorbed the road. They can be that good.
But I installed new rears on the C4S just before a trip a couple weeks ago and it took almost 1500 miles before they stopped pushing us all over the road. That may have been long lasting mold release or a problem from refreshing only one axle.
Anyway, things appear to have settled down now. So I don't think it was a manufacturing defect. Most likely an imbalance between axles perhaps aggravated by the AWD. You'll have four new tires so what I'm writing probably doesn't apply to you.
My next refresh will be both axles.
FWIW, PS2s were giving me 25 to 27K miles on the rears consistently over the course of 3 sets. The PS4 rears were gone at 22.5K miles. No changes in alignment but between retirement and Covid I'm driving a lower % of freeway miles vs spirited canyon driving. So that could easily explain the difference.
So back to the point ... Be patient if necessary and, for anyone with AWD, debate keeping the front tires for an extra cycle of the rears.
Please let us know your thoughts after you've had them a while.

The Michelin purists will come out of the woodwork with pitch forks, but for my daily driving use I adore my General G-max RS tires. They're like 8/10ths of the Michelin performance at 65% of the cost.
I ended up with them as a result of the supply chain tire shortage.

I keep waiting for them to slip or do something unexpected during spirited driving so I can replace them with Michelins. 10k miles and still waiting.

Interesting that a tire like a Conti ECS might be a “better” car for a daily if it’s quieter. I’m not chasing max performance on public roads, and as a daily, every bit of reduced noise helps.
