Default Any BC Racing Coilovers feedabck?

I have a 2007 997 non-PASM Targa 4 and am considering several options for suspension mods. I am stuck between Bilstein B8's with H&R springs or BC Racing BS Coilovers. The choice of BC Racing over Bilstein coilovers is pricing as BC Racing are about $1000 less than Bilstein. Does anyone have any experience with the BC Racing product? I would greatly appreciate some input as I know little about the company or quality of product. Thanks in advance.

Any BC Racing feedback?
Yes. Don’t.

Bilstein or KW for “cheap” coil overs. But realistically, spend money. Spend it well. Moton, KW Clubsport, Bilstein B16, JRZ, Penske, something double adjustable.

I have them on my 2006 C2S and love them. I don't track my car, but I don't see why they wouldn't be fine with it as they run them on drift cars.

if you don't mind me asking, what series BC coilovers are you using? i'm looking at possibly putting them on my V70R which has the 4C suspension from the factory.
just curious, as they have multiple series options.

The BR series. They have much fancier options but these were perfectly suited to how I use the car.

The best part is that my wife has never once complained about the ride, which is saying a lot as she absolutely hates the way my BMWs ride on coilovers.

Hi Steve - Thank you for your input. I'm in the same exact position...non-PASM, not tracking the car, don't like the massive wheel gap of the base 997's and looking to change it. For the price of Bilstein B8's and H&R or Eibach springs, I could put on BC Racing BR coilovers. I just don't anything about how they actual drive, feel, etc. How would you compare them to the stock shock/struts and springs? The outside road noise coming in...wondering what that is from...you mention upper mounts aren't reused. Guess I'll be watching your videos. What would you say was the total install time including removal of old suspension?

X2 I like how I can dial in the ride stiffness as I see fit. On longer journeys (4 hours highway), I tend to soften the ride and I tighten things up when Im around town and spirited drives.

The only feedback I can offer is that mine have been on order since early March. I've elected to go with the BR series because my car does not have PASM and I won't be tracking her. I'm happy to report back on installation and overall impressions once I have some miles on them (assuming they arrive before the end of the summer)

wow. Where did you order them? Their website isn't showing a backorder.

No, it doesn't show a back order. Note that it also does not indicate that they are in stock and available to ship. When you call or email you'll be quoted a lead time of several weeks.

Me too... order was placed April 4 and they haven't shipped yet. Expected ship date is tomorrow but we'll see.

Mine is also a 2007 Targa 4 non-PASM. I'm also planning on installing a Stanceparts kit but waiting for the coilovers so I can take some measurements before ordering.

Double adjustables are massive overkill for the street. Take a look at feal...ive been very pleased and pricing is competitive

We sell a bunch of these for the 997 and no negative feedback. They're $1300 so they're a great bang for buck coil as well.

What variances did you guys order for your vehicle? I'm assuming most of you guys have the Carrera 4 or 4s?
