Thoughts on Transmission Mount Insert?

Any thoughts on this? I just use the car 1-2 a week around town and some highway driving, nothing too crazy. Worth it? And if so, how difficult is it to install?
I had my shop put it in while doing an oil change and I'm pretty sure it took them like 20 minutes max to do.

My car is a 2009 997.2 C2 that although it only currently has 28K miles, I decided that 10year-old rubber part, ****ty roads, relatively low price and daily driving were all reasons enough for replacement. As to the installation, I had it done by my indi when I went for an oil change. However, I do remember that the instructions recommended the loosening of the engine motor mounts to jack up the engine about 1.5 inches or so to facilitate the remove/install the inserts.
As to what changes I noticed afterwards? Truthfully, none! But I do feel better that a more robust part is now in its place. Different strokes for different folks... for those of you old enough to know/remember what that means.

I've replaced these on three cars now (mine and two friends). I feel the OEM pieces are a joke. I believe new bushings will help support the transmission and prolong the life of the actual mounts. It does require removal of the rear bottom panel and depending on luck (as best I can tell) the new ones may go in easy or not. The swaps took me anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes.
I used the (black) race units on mine. If you're going for it you should do just that IMHO. I had previously gone the hardest motor mounts I could find.
The results ...
The motor mounts made a huge difference. All positive. Very little extra NVH. Maybe the old mounts were so loose they were creating extra NVH that got absorbed by the stiffer mounts. Or maybe it's just the car.
Transmission mounts (or bushings if you prefer) made very little difference. But I'm glad I did them considering that the original ones were flat pieces of nothing.

I lubricated them with a silicone grease during installation to keep them quiet and help them slide into position easily.
