Default Updating sand beige interior

Purchased my dream car late in 2019 -.2 C4S. It had a full sand beige interior but with a matching basalt console and black deviating carpet.

As us crazy car folk need to tinker I began the process of breaking up the beige with some black.

Started off like this:

added the black wheel

updated the shifter, ebrake, banana trim and console lid

Changed the side panels

Had new trim piece and banana trim painted in basalt.
-If you’re in Northern New Jersey, give Craig at Nash Park auto a ring! He will make it look perfect!

Final product!

Really happy with the end result! Wanted a factory two tone but won’t rip apart the dash and with the black carpet it works!

Recommend getting your banana trim painted to match if your console is painted. Made a big difference.

Looks really good! Planning on doing something similar with my full beige interior.

Personally not a fan of the gloss center console with everything else being matte. Have you thought about painting the vents and cup holder trim black?

I recently repainted my center console, but went matte instead of glossy black. Really change the appearance and energy in the car.

Thank you, and yes but to pull those parts out looked to be a bit too much work. There is a special edition c4s released in Sweden or something that those black bits. Looked sharp!

Looks really good. The wheel looks amazing and really help breaks up the beige. I have the same interrior beige/black deviated carpets. I might do a new wheel like this at somepoint also.

Looks great, I’m trying to go the opposite direction and add some color/contrast to an all black interior, this gives me some good ideas. Thanks

2009 C2S 170K miles

Do the key and light bezels... cheap. The cup holder doors are a replacement item too.

Check out ebay for black door handle pulls and bits... some are heat welded but can be replaced with a heat gun.

Peace

Thanks Bruce! Will look into it. The door handles would be a nice touch.

I like the the Beige leather shifter and brake handle boot much better. I could see the steering wheel painted basalt black. Basalt black is very nice looking with the beige interior for sure. Always fun to personalize a little. Cheers

After the install of the wheel only, I wasn't sure if it looked right... The shift **** and brake showed a bit of wear so replacing them was in my plans early on. Someone on here did a great job mixing up the beige and black that had factory two tone. Just the **** was black with a beige boot, and there was a 991 steering wheel also. Looked perfect! I'll try to find a pic. That guy did it best!

It was hexagone:

The factory two-tone is much nicer IMO. The black dash that wraps to the top of the doors makes a big visual difference vs the beige dash.

Painting that plastic piece under the e-brake and changing the wheel were game changers in your interior - nice job.

Did you paint or replace your steering wheel trim?

it was a new wheel and airbag.

one downside to basalt console is that with the gloss finish, the second you even look at it, it gets scratched. I think that’s why from factory the banana trim is that matte color as it’s a high touch area. I think you want matte on the wheel parts as well.

Default Steering wheel

Hi
Are you selling your sand beige steering wheel and the air bag? If so, how much are you asking for it? I would be interested in the price is right. Thanks
