Hello All,

The Saturday drive started out well, we left the target parking lot at about 8 before a large group went up for a rolling road block or chicane.
As soon as we were about to finish 9 mile my steering got really heavy so I pulled over to discover a belt hanging.

to 992 Geoff and QikQbn many thanks!!! without them i would have been screwed as there was no cell signal.
Shout out to Curtis at Pasadena Private Car Storage for flat-bedding my car out of ACH and dropping it at my indie.

Hey GSXR750,
Great to meet you and 992Geoff. Bummer it was cut short, but a blast while it lasted. You know the Crest like the back of your hand and it has been a few years since I have driven those roads. Still, very Impressive driving on your part!
Glad to know it will be a quick fix too. Can't make it for a few weeks, but I will be back to meet up again soon for sure.

That is a bummer, but at least it is still a relatively easy fix. Just glad it was not something more serious. How many miles on the car and what year? If it's a common problem, and because of how we like to drive, it might be worth putting down as a maintenance issue to take care of in the near future for me as well.
