Default ? for folks with Zunsport grills

Looking to install Zunsport grills on my 11 C2S. Wondering if the grill can be modified to accommodate a camera and radar detector sensor both of which are mounted at the top of the center opening toward the driver side. The grills will need to be trimmed and I suspect that's possible but wanted to see if others have modified. TIA (I've tried calling Zunsport a couple of times but their message says they're only open from 10am-3pm London time and getting up at 3 am to call hasn't been high on my agenda)

I doubt they can be trimmed. I just bought a set for my GTS and the surround of each grille is constructed from high-strength steel wire, which maintains the shape of the grille insert. There's a video of how they make them on their website which is informative. Cutting this would compromise the fit and weaken the grille so it could fall out.In your case it may be better to just buy the nylon-coated wire (don't get powder-coated) and make your own, mounted inside the front bumper.

Email Peter at Zunsport and they're quick to respond.

I made my own out of gutter guard from Lowes - they look as good as any of the commercial ones. I covered the side openings and left the center open - radiators are all you need to protect. Mesh is held in place with small zip ties and are easy to replace without removing the bumper. Many good ideas on YouTube.

I have radar detector sensor up front and the grills don’t appear to compromise performance? Maybe I am wrong, but detector functions and zunnsports are installed up front on my GTS.
