$25 for a near life-time supply.
Sometimes the coolant hoses that have metal ends with o-rings on them can develop a bit of oxidation "crust" on them. This lubricant not only overcomes that crust but also really helps the rubber o-rings slide in, and super tight, new rubber hoses sliding over metal barbs.

I am going nekkid.
Reason: there is no sliding here. The gasket is inset on the pump in a groove and comes that way in the box... not flopping around. Not need to be held in place. The pump is flat-mated to the chassis... no sliding into anything... just face-to-face. I don't think even I can screw this one up.
Peace

Try this. Sealube P-80 . amazon or probably at a pool and spa shop. $5 to $8 depending where you go. No silicone or PTFE. Water soluble , good for suspension bushing etc. The purists will complain. Just my idea and opinion.
