Default Will I feel a power difference?

I have a 2007 997 C2 Cab and I’m adding a tubi exhaust and a Fabspeed intake. Will I notice maybe even a slight power difference? Thank you

No idea regarding the intake.

I added a Tubi exhaust to my 997.2 C2S Cab. I had no expectation of any performance gain and it was not even a thought really when I decided to purchase it. The goal was to improve the sound of the car - which it really did.

I did discover however that there was better throttle response with the Tubi mufflers on the car and it definitely felt quicker to me. Perhaps tied to the weight reduction with the Tubi mufflers. (Tubi mufflers weighed 8 lbs each. The OEM / Fister modified mufflers weighed 16 lbs 7 ozs each.) Plus on the 997.2 - the elimination of the stock center muffler (lard can.)

Ok Thank you. Did you notice a huge difference in sound from the stock Exhaust?

Compared with the stock exhaust system - yes, it's a profound difference. (My car is a .2 and the standard setup on it was really docile / subdued.) Everything with the sound changed - all for the better. Volume of sound, quality / character of the sound vastly improved.

Wow that’s really cool. I’m looking forward to it. My brother had a tubi on his Ferrari 360 and it sounded incredible!

The flat 6 will sound NOTHING like the 360.

I have the Fabspeed dual intake. I am here to say you will gain eye candy. From looking at old dyno runs I am pretty confident that I lost Hp.

you will love it every time you open your deck lid

Wow I didn’t know that. I think Fabspeed claims like a 19 HP gain but that seems like a lot to me. Did the Fabspeed intake enhance the sound?

Agree 100% with that assessment. Champion Motorsport claims a 15-20 hp gain https://www.championmotorsport.com/p...i-997-2-ex.htm but I'm skeptical. Maybe there is a 15-20 hp gain but it's just a small enough gain to really notice. Like you I can't speak for the Fabspeed intake except that as has been said so many times here, it's really hard to squeeze more hp out of these engines short of superchargers.

Case in point, my GTS has just over an additional 20hp compared to my -09 C4S thanks to the $17,000 X-51 power kit. If I try really hard maybe I can detect a slight bump up in power but it's very marginal.

Ooooo there will be a new glorious sound. Paired with your new exhaust you will not be disappointed. I love the way my Fabspeed sounds it compliments my full exhaust system.

Hughes,

Not only will you gain "glorious intake sound" as Bailey pointed out, but you will actually gain slight HP. I know a lot of people like to argue and discredit the results. However, we have Dyno tested the intake system numerous times at people's request, and every time the results are the same.
I encourage you to purchase one. The look, sound, and feel will prove to you it was something you should have done long ago!

PM me if you have any other questions.

Wasn't there an independent review video on these mods (on this forum I believe) with little to negative HP results and based on a controlled test before and after. Google/search it. Do it for the sound though if you like it.
