Default Misfire with Bad AOS

Can someone check my thinking here?

Had the car 6mo, white smoke on startup, seems to have been getting slowly worse. Vigorous driving the other day - ran great, next morning misfire on 1,5 and 6. on startup. Shutdown, replaced AOS, cleaned oil out of intake. Still misfiring, but on just about all cylinders.

My thought is that I have fouled plugs and some residual oil in the intake. Plan is to do the plugs/coils. *Hopefully* find fouled plugs. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Did you try an Italian Tuneup? How about super concentrated fuel cleaner like Techron? Howzabout both!

Peace

Not yet, a bit gun shy about revving an engine with a misfire even if I *think* I know why. I guess if I find oily/fouled plugs then I'd feel better about it.

The oil you saw coming out the exhausts from the failed AOS has fouled the plugs. Replace them.
